Testimonials
Samantha deManbey produced a documentary for the Pawtucket Housing Authority on one of our public housing projects. "Prospect Heights," as it was originally called, was one of the first family housing sites of its kind in the nation. Her research and presentation of this information in an informative and engaging manner allowed us to reach many people with our work. She is diligent and organized filmmaker that was methodical and meticulous in researching her subject and collecting supporting materials from archives, libraries, and individual accounts. She was very organized and on time with all aspects of the project, in addition to communicating with us regularly to stay on target with the message we were hoping to convey.
Her work on this project left us with a valuable collection of articles, photos, and stories about an important public housing project. It also brought our residents a great deal of pride to see their home displayed in such a professional and artistic way.
I would highly recommend Samantha for any film project and look forward to working with her in the future of preserving the history of our other public housing facilities.

Samantha recorded many performances and then edited them together gracefully to produce an excellent finished project. She also created a 6 minute promotional video which has significantly helped booking the show at other theatres.

I wanted to have a video made to honor my father's life. Samantha used her natural talent to put together a beautiful piece. I gave her a box of photos and she was able to transform it into a video with typed phrases and complementary music to tell a story. She was able to achieve a wonderful and sentimental part of our family history that we will cherish forever.

I knew her video would be superior to what I could have produced. Plus she presented the completed DVD in a professional manner despite the casual nature of my request. I look forward to working with her on stage, backstage, or watching her recordings offstage.

The Fitchburg Public Library is very pleased with the promotional video Ms. deManbey created for us. We needed to remind past library users of the new products we offer as well as to introduce new residents to the wide variety of resources available for free at the Library. Ms. deManbey created a professional look at the Library. Prior to filming the Director, she sent a list of questions to consider. One day she took still photographs and building videos. On film day, she set up her lighting and recording equipment and then asked questions of the Director. In spite of wind, machine noise interference, and the loss of electricity, she managed to capture plenty of footage to edit into the amazing, cohesive video she made for us. Her editing is seamless. She also made the entire process easy and comfortable for the camera shy person she was filming. We are thrilled with the quality of work Samantha deManbey did for us.
